As most know, I live in Dallas. It is big city, but I'm always amazed at how courteous people are. I can't think of any other big city I'd rather live in.
So, we were at Kohl's yesterday. Hubs bought a water bottle. We were in line for check-out and I noticed this young, attractive woman and just thought how well put together she was. I guess I caught her eye because she came up to us and asked if we were spending $20 or more. She had a coupon that she was going to give us. Unfortunately we weren't spending over $20 but I just thought the gesture was so nice.
BTW, there was another thread about men opening the door for women. I went to the gym on Friday and had a young lady hold the door open for me. I thanked her and she said "You're welcome". Maybe chivalry is dead but courtesy isn't.
