Three Children Shot and Killed While Just Having Fun!

Recently, I've read about three children, under five who have been killed by what seems like purposeful gunfire in the past few weeks. The stories are frightening, angering and heartbreaking, to say the least. The latest was a beautiful little girl who was shot and killed along with her father. Trinity, described as a bright light, was playing with her dollhouse when she and her dad were shot. Rapper Master P paid for the child's funeral.

This sweet little boy was shot in the head by a neighbor while he was playing outside with his sisters. The killer had eaten dinner with the boy's father the night before. A neighbor thought she saw the killer playing with the children before it happened.

This little cutie was shot at his own IncredibleHulk birthday party by an ex-soldier. Although this happened in Brazil, it still broke my heart.

I can't even begin to imagine what the parents of these children are going through! The horror is something they will never be able to forget. I can't help but wonder why anyone would do something like this to innocent children. I pray that they catch the killer of the little girl and her father and that these killers will get punished to the fullest extent of the law.🤬

Along with other criminals, we've been releasing mentally-ill people from institutions for many years for the same reason - cost cutting. We can't expect normal behavior from them, especially since they're probably not taking whatever medication may prevent them from acting out.

It’s terrible to see innocent little children killed. The child hasn’t even had an opportunity to grow and enjoy their life.

The little boy in Brazil was killed by his father. He has to be suffering to the max. I don’t understand the need for a gun at a little boy’s birthday party.

I don't know what account you read but the little boy in Brazil was killed by a soldier who had just gotten out of the service, not his dad. One of the last lines from the article: "Enzo’s dad Douglas dos Santos, 37, has claimed the alleged killer gatecrashed the party and he had to pull Pevidor's car keys out of the ignition when he tried to flee after the shooting." If you have an update that shows his father did it, please post the link.

"Accident?" "His revolver went off when he fell?" Not likely on the planet earth.
We "gun people" know that a D.A. revolver's trigger pull is 10-14 lbs & unless it's an antique, it also has a hammer block, rebounding hammer, or transfer bar so it can't fire from an impact.
Reminds me of the "Your Honor, I was cleaning my gun & it went off, killing my poor wife/husband."

My bad. I was also reading online about a father in Rocky Mount, NC that accidentally shot his 8 y/o son. This happened just a few weeks ago, I believe.

Shooting Accident

Doesn't surprise me, since there is so much gun violence in America now and for years before. Kids find a loaded gun and, somehow, the gun goes off and that child kills their sibling. There are lots of folks today that keep a loaded handgun somewhere that, obviously, even a child can find. There are those that are released from prison, that are told by inmates, before being released, "somehow get a gun when you get on the outside" and they do.

It's a terrible, terrible thing when young kids are shot/killed due to a drive-by or something else, but it doesn't really surprise me. It's the society we live in now and have been.

Well at least that little boy is (hopefully) still alive. I hadn't heard about that one but there are also a lot of children who have been killed by their parent(s). It's a sin and a shame.:mad:
@ClassicRockr You're right, sadly. Three teens were killed in my city in drive by shootings over the past few years. One was my 17 year old grand nephew by marriage. He had just spoken to his father on the phone and was walking to meet him to get pizza.

This kind of evil is just shocking, and it is not letting up.
Everyday brings something more.
Have humans always had so many savage people among us?
What we are seeing and witnessing, Pecos, is a progressive slump in societies attitude to all things, living or otherwise. It's a movement that's been cultivated over the past decade (possibly two) where nothing means nothing anymore, and everything is disposable.

The only difference between today's day and age and yesteryears day and age, was there were more old-fashioned and proper people back in the day that weren't afraid to stand-up for others, stand-up for themselves, and so when people stepped out of line, there was someone there to bring them back inline, back in-step, but those old ways and days are gone.

Today, parents can't spank, and we can't do this, and we can't do that, and we are now seeing the ill-effects and results of a society and world allowed to run amuck, with our pathetic and asinine justice system being the biggest blame of all, always sticking their noses in everyone's business, instead of concentrating on and focusing their attention on matters that matter the most.

Courtesy of the namby-pamby society and world we live in today, with all the bleeding-hearts out there, savage individuals will continue to multiple at the same rate as the cells and viruses contained in a laboratory petri-dish.

Allow people to act like animals long enough, sooner or later they turn into animals. That is what we are seeing today.

I think it's way more peaceful now than it was in the past. Imagine being in a village that gets raided, then a few years later gets raided again, think Genghis Khan type stuff.

Basically, IMO, humans are the same as we always were, except with better technology. We also, for the first time in history, have crazy ideas like world peace is a good thing. No one questioned wars in the past but we do now, even though they still exist, they exist less.

One important word is missing: "Morons." There are lots of morons today that keep a loaded handgun somewhere that a child can find.
