Three Police Officers Shot and Killed Two Others Also Shot

Service for the 3 slain Officers is being held on Thursday at a church near here. The church has an auditorium style sanctuary that seats over 1000 people. The families expect many Officers from Pennsylvania and other states. I’m sure the turnout will be large.
 

Starting with the stalking aspect, it was a breach of civilized order... and ended in a very sad human tragedy. Perpetrated by one more despicable, out-of-control individual with an assault rifle.

The press/media seem to have had problems making a picture of the identified "suspect" public. I'm sure this has been resolved by now, but I haven't found a verified image online.

Last night, there was a procession taking the 3 dead Officers to the morgue. Residents of York County were notified of the procession of the bodies being taken to the Coroner’s office. Hundreds, maybe thousands of residents stood along the route of the bodies being transported, along with several police, fire trucks and ambulances joining the procession.

This is a terrible event for this County. We are a County of God-fearing people who honor what our first responders do for us. Our police departments, fire departments, EMT’s and Hospital workers are all very dedicated to giving the County their best efforts. They all are very special people to us.
