Thrift stores anyone?

I have a number of pieces furniture that came from thrift stores. If it is good solid real wood and I like the shape I buy it. Then get it refinished. Often ends up costing as much as new, but a lot better.

Really hard to find new furniture today that isn't some kind of fiberboard with thin veneer. Nothing but shavings and glue.
