Tickets and fines in your lifetime. Take a guess.

My lifetime, have had one running a red-light ticket, although it was
amber all the way through the intersection. Paid the fine, did not go
to court. This was back in 1985. Ticket was $25.

Parking ticket for failing to put my mom's handicap sticker in the window,
where I was parked. Was fined $500, did go to court, reduced to $250.
That was back in 1995.

Meter parking tickets in Seattle, WA. total of 5 for running over the allotted
time. Paid the fines. Small fines at that time. That was back in 1991.

Driving too slowly, and impeding traffic (got a verbal warning twice) no tickets.
It was early morning, on a nice quieter country road/highway. I was enjoying
the views. That was in 2020.

That's it for Emeraude :)

I was caught driving without a license at age 18, couldn't officially get a license for
4 years.
Then 10 years later on the interstate here in Missouri I was following my
DH who was hauling my scared horse to our new home and he was jittery, I had to pass
a guy who pulled in front of me and got a ticket for speeding while passing. I had to stay
close in case Dusty lost it so I could calm him. I was in car with my kids.
Another 10 years later I got a speeding ticket for going 30mph in a 25mph zone because
I was rushing to (giggle) get my license renewed during my 30 minute lunch break.

In over 50 years of driving, I've gotten one ticket for no proof of insurance. A few days later I went to a police station and showed my insurance card and an officer signed off the ticket. That was back in the 70s.

And I was pulled over for 5mph over the posted limit, but the officer just gave me a warning. That was in the 80s.

I've never gotten a ticket for going too slow :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I haven't had any tickets in a long time (knock on wood) ... in my life ?

If I had to guess, I would say maybe 10 ... speeding and parking.

I got a lot of tickets when young. I always went to court. In those years, if the officer who issued the ticket failed to appear, it was automatically dismissed. It doesn't work that way anymore. Nowadays they reschedule the case for another day and the officer will most likely appear - but that's okay since it's probably been 30 years since I've had any more tickets.

One parking ticket and one speeding ticket.

The parking ticket was nonsense and the speeding ticket was justified.

I paid both.

A better question might be how many tickets, fines, etc… should I have gotten. 😉🤭😂

I was driving home from having dinner with a friend, and got ticketed for a burned out rear light. I was told that if I had it replaced right away, and took the car to a police station, they wouldn't charge me.

I was very busy, leaving for Australia in a couple of days. Had to bite the bullet and paid the fine.
