My best friend (BFF) who has played piano for many well known artists and sometimes toured with them (eg: The Crystals and Tiny Tim), played for Lou Christie. I didn't realize he was such a good looking guy until I saw a flyer she gave me of one of his shows when he was younger. She told me that sadly, he passed away in June of last year from cancer.

Unfortunately, all those from eras gone, pass away. Only then do we realise how long it has been since we even thought of them.
