I have a friend that is very senior. She has a time share that she has not used for decades. It is paid off, but she pays a maintenance fee of about $900.00 a year. She is in failing health and has asked me and the wife to try and get rid of it. The developer will not take back the property and will not eliminate the maintenance fees. I have tried to sell, no luck. It is located in Orlando, florida. If anyone has any experience in riding themselves of a timeshare property, I would love to hear about it. I'm not familiar with the dealing of this type of property. It seems very difficult. Again, I'm not the owner, I'm trying to help a friend so I don't have any experience to fall back on, so I'm learning every day.
