Time to "Hit The Road"

I was in Jamaica for a few days about 3 weeks ago. I use sunscreen on my ears, nose and back of my neck. I met John McCain a few times and each time we spoke about his time in Vietnam after he was shot down. He always warned us to use sunscreen at least #50 or higher on the thinnest skin areas. His skin cancer was all but cured when the cancer hit his brain. He had survived a stay at the Hanoi Hilton. I use Blue Lizard.

Fantastic! Wish I could do the same. I hope you are having (have had) a great time. Safe travels always.

Are there good reviews for this? I was looking at it today. I‘m tired of applying sunscreen and looking like a ghost. I use a tinted cream on my face year round.
I'm not sure about the reviews, but I burn fairly easy, so I use it where the skin is the thinnest because it was recommended to me by my Dermatologist. I haven't burned with it. Stay away from the oils. I use Blue Lizard on my ears, nose, and back of my neck. Everywhere else, I use Coppertone SPF 30 and don't burn. There are more expensive ones, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are better. Sun is good to a point, but if we burn, we take a chance on getting skin cancer and that's never a good thing. I generally have a nice tan after about 3 days of being in the sun for 4 hours. I like to snorkel and fish, so I am out in the sun for quite awhile. This thing of just laying out in the sun is risky. I'm just going by what why my Dermatologist has told me.

I know you didn't talk to John McCain 3 weeks ago because he died in 2018.

I wrote that I was in Jamaica about 3 weeks ago. And I also wrote that I met John McCain a few times and each time we spoke about his time in Vietnam, he would warn us about to be sure to use a high number sunscreen or sunblock on where our skin is the thinnest, especially on our ears and nose, which he had none while being held a prisoner in Vietnam. Please reread the post. Maybe I didn't write it well enough to be understood correctly. Sorry if I mislead you.

The first time I met Senator McCain was in 1984 when he attended the graduation ceremonies at the Naval Academy from where he also graduated from. He addressed the graduating class that year. My Gramps was thrilled to have met him and shake his hand.
