Hi! I'm a married (59 years!) old guy (78) from the interior of B.C. Canada. We live in a small town of 10,000 surrounded by forested wilderness so we have a lot of animal neighbours that wander by regularly. We own a modern mobile home with a large addition in a very nice senior mobile home park. Deer are frequent visitors eating the crab apples off the decorative crab apple trees in the median of the park. Occasionally we have black bears wander through the park so we all keep our garbage inside until garbage pickup day. Last spring, I still had a bird feeder up and I spotted a young bear flat on the ground under our kitchen window. He was licking up the spilled sunflower seeds under the feeder. They can be dangerous so I grabbed my car fob and pressed the panic button. He took off like a shot and it alerted the neighbours as to his presence.
