Has anybody seen where the furnace, water heater & a few other essentials are in these houses? I'm curious because I really like them & nothing shows a basement where they usually would be placed.

They try to put them wherever they can fit them. Under counters, closets, cupboards, wherever there is space. Here is video I found where the guy shows what he did.
