tired today

Good morning to all- I am one tired little old feller today.
I spent yesterday with my buddy Dave fishing on his boat out in the gulf of Mexico.
We tied up to a gas rig and started to catch fish immediately.
We caught red snapper- delicious, spanish mackerel- delicious, king mackerel- not so delicious, and lots of sharks.
Sharks are not just impressive to behold, but they put up a terrific fight when hooked.
We would bring them to the boat, unhook them or cut the leader- depends on the size of the shark- and send them on their way.
Lots of fun- good to go out on the water.

Well done, Ed. That is the sort of tired that you can put up with. Make sure that you have more days like that and simply rest the next day. :)
 

Pooped. Old Mack had me running out for cleaning and painting supplies all day yesterday. I think he forgets I love to drive around town and I love to shop. I'm waiting for the day that he asks where did the money go? gee I don't know...on the house?
 
When we moved here to northeastern Florida in 2009, we bought wife and I saltwater fishing equipment, including different lures and hooks..........never used any of it and sold - gave away all of it. Still have all of our freshwater fishing stuff, from when we lived in Colorado, that is now packed up and ready to be moved when we move.

Will take freshwater fishing and boating any day over saltwater. Saltwater can do some nasty things to an engine and outdrive.........we sure found that out on our boat here.

Can hardly wait to get back to freshwater rainbow trout fishing!
