To all of you, Thankie Thankie

Today makes a full week I've been here with you guys and gals, and these are the reasons I'll stay as long as I can.

1. My morbid thoughts are down by 75%.
2. My spirit has been lifted a hundred fold.
3. Time seems to just shoot by, instead of dragging on and on.
4. I don't seem to need as much pain medication each day.

When I can figure out how the friend request works, I be hunting a few of you down. So look out.:love_heart::eek:nthego::eek:

No one will be hiding Ina.

Your post has just lifted my day too. That this site is fulfilling it's purpose of improving life for those who use it is putting a shine on Matrix' and the members' medals. Beats the hell out of staring at walls and watching mental reruns of the past doesn't it?

Don't concern yourself with the friend request stuff. We are already your friends.

Ina your post was wonderful and I am glad you found us and are benefiting from it as we are with having you here too.

You are a major inspiration to me as well.

I haven't been on here all that long, but it didn't take much to feel at home! Glad you are already settling in.

Ina, you've found the right place and when negative thoughts pop in your head, come read and post. It really is wonderful therapy, I think, for all of us. I'm so happy to hear how much it has helped you. ((HUGS))

Thanks for being part of the family here Ina, I enjoy your company and your posts so much too! You're a special lady, and I admire all your strength and character! :love_heart: Glad you feel a little better since you joined, I also get a lift in spirits and frequent smiles when visiting with everyone here. Here's the basic way to befriend someone.

The easiest way to become another member's "Friend", is to click on their "User Name" and go to their "Profile Page". You can find their User Name if they're online, at the bottom of the forum homepage, under "Current Active Users"...or, you can go to one of their posts and click on the User Name there, then click on "View Profile".

Once you're on their profile page, just click on the "Friends" tab, and then click the "Befriend" link.

You'll be notified of an incoming friend request through "Notifications", which is found at the top right of the forum page, next to your User Name. These requests can be either accepted or rejected.

Your friends will show on your profile page, check their Avatar to show Avatar when accepting the request. Your Avatar also shows on their Profile Page. Your friends will have a + sign next to their names at the bottom of the forum page, under Current Active Users.

I love my computer and the internet. Ina has just demonstrated why.
It is a blessing if we use it well and this forum is just one of the many blessings.

The more we participate, the more we get to know the other people who are online, and even though we may never meet in the flesh, we can find kindred spirits and companions for the journey of life.

Stick around, Ina, you have much to contribute to all of us.

Thank you Warrigal, the best benifit so far for me has been being able take my mind of my pain, thereby lowering my blood pressure. But, I think the long term benefit is turning out to be everyone one of you.:love_heart:

And the good news, Ina, you're brand new. Just wait 'til you are really settled in here and a big old part of this group. Won't take you anytime to get established. We're all rooting for you.

Good to hear Ina......just think how much better you'll feel as time goes on......
