Valentine's Day has always been one of my favourite days of the year. I guess, I love, love ❣️❣️
Unfortunately the tradition did not start out beautifully as this video explains...


On Valentine's Day, florists flourish, lovers wait expectantly hoping a bunch of blooms will come their way and roses seem to be the choice of the day. But how did this tradition get started?


Yes love does make the world go round, it puts stars in our eyes, makes us walk on clouds and me? Well, I wouldn't have it any other way ... take it away Michael!

Oh darn it, I'll have to go and wait another twelves months now before "pressing my suit",(old fashioned expression for telling someone you love them I believe?)! :)

Well, its here at last and happy valentines to all my "girlfriends", well the one fan I can perhaps count on, who is married admittedly, and prone to curlers, (and perhaps another one?), and of course to all those still to succumb!

Well, our day is drawing to a close. I had a lovely time, been spoilt and spoilt in return. Did some spoiling too with a few of my elderly neighbours and took them chocolates. I really enjoyed seeing the look on their faces!
