I’m pretty good at keeping the fridge organized and clean but the little freezer compartment can sometimes be a challenge.

What about my Penicillin plantation?

In this house, we don't throw out leftovers. Rather, we carefully curate them in the back of the fridge until they become unidentifiable lumps of green or grey fuzz.....THEN we throw them out.

I'm very glad that I didn't see this thread yesterday.
And that's my excuse for not doing it!

Now that I do see the thread, I therefore think and conclude,
that I needn't even consider doing it, till next year!

Many, many decades ago, I remember that I used to clean it out, whenever I brought the groceries home, before they went into it.

It seemed like a great system, back then, that I was proud of, at the time.

I let that go, years ago, and found other things to feel proud of, instead.

I hadn't seen this before but I started cleaning it out on Thursday and finished today, Saturday. Maybe a shelf and a drawer each day so as to not become overwhelmed. One of the guys cleaned the oven. It sparkles. Limping along toward Thanksgiving.
