Today is Cinco de Mayo!

It's Cinco de Mayo, which is an excellent excuse to drink some margaritas and eat nachos! I have no idea why the 5th of May is a holiday. Let me check... don't go away... Ah, it's to celebrate Mexico's victory over the French back in 1862! While we were busy with our Civil War, Mexico was at war with France.

So here's to the 19th century Mexican army and their victory over French imperialism!

Happy Cinco de Mayo. I made this pic of us many years ago with some computer program. Those were the good ole days when we were much younger. We don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo; I find no reason to. We both don't drink alcoholic beverages either. We are as boring as they come.

There are people who go nuts celebrating though; we'll just let them do so.
