Oh my — I LOVE a good grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup made with milk, and a Valsic dill pickle slice on the side.

And I can’t find one. Everybody wants to gussy up the sandwich and ruin it.

My mom made the best grilled cheese sandwiches of anyone on the planet and maybe that’s why I can’t find quality anywhere- not even in my own kitchen

Practice makes perfect! Call Monday tomato soup and grilled experiment day.

Non stick pan on medium heat, butter or slather good bread with mayo on the cold side after you heat it in the pan. Put the cheese between the warm sides.

I didn't even know this yesterday when I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch! I hadn't had one in a long time and lately my son had made a couple. We don't use the same kind of bread, so I never ask him to make one for me. I use American cheese slices and like my bread to be golden brown.
