Toilet height, your preference?

After my knee surgery I was really happy to have the tall one, standing up from a seat was one of the hardest things I had to do. Still hurts some, but not so bad. A riser like @Marie5656 showed might be an even better solution.
Mine is great....with my bad knees it is a lifesaver. Plus this bidet attachment to get the job done more cleanly 71Bw206MUpL._AC_UL320_.jpg

Mine are old, came with the house. I just measured and it seemed to be just over 15 inches. Definitely don't like them, too low. If we decide someday to get new ones, they will be high, I'm thinking they are called Chair Height. Easy to get up from is a plus.

I must say I never gave it much thought. Then I had a hip replacement. That will get your attention quickly. I had one taller one in the house, thank God. It was the only one I could use for a while during the recovery. If I need to replace the other two in the future they will be high.
