Toilet In Kitchen

I was browsing looking at embroidery designs for my sewing machine and came across this article

Yes this is in Sydney...Australia ... I thought about it and it seems yuk ,:yuk::yuk: however many people travel in or live in a caravan permanently and many of them have a toilet right next to the kitchen but at least they have a wall in between the toilet and eating areas .. Is this the new way of living ?
Without looking it up as I have only ever been to Sydney twice I believe that area is a very upmarket / expensive , DW would be able to enlighten us more on that area

I think I'd pass on the toilet right out in the open. Tenement apartments used to have the bathtub in the kitchen, though. There would be a wooden top that was put on top of the bathtub and that would be your kitchen table.

:yes: I agree Imp , I'd feel sick Everytime I thought about eating in a kitchen with a toilet ..

I could not imagine anyone wanting to buy a unit with a set up like that ..but who knows ? I would not even waste my time looking at it ..:yuk::yuk:
