Tom Selleck reaches an agreement for stealing water!

He owns a big ranch and the drought caused a water shortage. An employee was taking the water from a hydrant and trucking it in for Tom. What a bum, and I refuse to watch any of his reruns...

I think the actual accusation was that he was taking or stealing from another water district. It wasn't so much about the water shortage as he was taking water from a hydrant he wasn't entitled to or paying for.

He is a bit sanctimonious on Blue Bloods but the whole show is pr for the NYPD

You know what this is really about in my opinion? Entitlement. A rich guy who thinks he's above everything and everyone else because of his money and the fact that people recognize his face. Yep hard job, overpaid hack! He got lucky and made a living playing dress up so the rules that apply to the average citizen don't apply to him. The people in the neighbourhood who have little houses and have to hope they don't get laid off have to comply with water restrictions and regulations in the face of a terrible drought, but he doesn't have to because.....cue the music.....he's Tom Selleck, rich guy. Whatever happened to integrity and ethics?

The entire show Blue Bloods comes off as an apologist for police or NYPD culture. That's mostly writing.

I think the truck loads of water thing was a theft of service and not drought violation. He was given warnings as early as 2013 to cease and desist. The water district hired a PI to investigate and Selleck gets the bill as part of the settlement. Some commenters on news site say it's not uncommon to take a truck to the closest hydrant to get water for their property. Sometimes close is in another county or water district. I wonder if others in the area were also investigated/warned.

Glad we agree on this as we don't see to on my prowess with the ladies...:sentimental:

Hmm, well there is weightlessness and I am investigating it...
