Country music singer-songwriter Tom T. Hall died Friday at his home in Franklin, Tennessee, at the age of 85, according to his son.

Me and my buddies used to sing along to this song when we'd be out cruising around, which made it a part of my youth.

RIP Tom T. Hall.
