Tomorrow is the first day of summer

I'm looking forward to spending more time with my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter was the school nurse and my granddaughter was in school so now school is closed and I am thrilled !
 
I plan on doing just what I've always been doing...trying to care for myself and my pet family..and as always try to relax as much as possible. Relaxation is very important for good health. Thanks for asking, Jim.

I will be golfing. After work. I'm on the Friday night golf league at work. I'm glad I will be outside for at least part of the day to celebrate the solstice. Now if it just doesn't rain . . . . . . . .

What are your plans Jim?
 
I can't do anything outside it is still raining but it is suppose to get better for the weekend. I'll probably have to start weeding all over again. Hopefully this summer I'll spend some time with my daughter and family. They definitely will be here for the 4th of July. A few weeks after that is my Grandsons birthday as well as mine. We were born on the same day so celebrate together if possible.
 
The way it goes for me, I really have no plans for summer. When my wife was here we found some kind of adventure but she is gone. Thanks for your replies.....Have a great summer...
 
I plan on putting in my window air conditioner, but they say tomorrow a cool front is moving through and cool and rain for the weekend, so we may wait until next week.

I hope you have a good summer Jim, I know each season will be particularly difficult for you since you don't have Detta by your side anymore. Maybe you can do a little something in her honor that she would have liked, like plant some flowers or get a nice plant for inside the house. Do you still get a lot of birds visiting your yard? Just watching the birds can be very peaceful and enjoyable, I know you love them. :sentimental:
