Tomorrow would have been our 45th Anniversary

Your wife looks like a very lovely lady, Jim. This is undoubtedly a rough patch, but I know you'll make it through tomorrow and many more days as well. Each day is a gift and she would want you to make the most of every one that you're blessed with.
 
Jim, that's such a nice photo of you and Detta. She was a lovely woman and I know you were a very close couple. Tomorrow will be a sad day for you, the first anniversary that you will be without her. :rose:

Just know that she's as close to your heart as she can be now, and like Tommy said, she would want you to make the best of every day your have now that she's no longer there with you. I've been thinking of you since she passed, and I will be tomorrow too. Hope the day goes okay, stop by tomorrow and let us know how you're doing....hugs.

Thank you. I really am kinda lost without Detta. Tomorrow will be another trial. HUG
 
That photo brings home to me how much you are missing her.
If eyes can tell us anything, Detta's reveal a warm and loving personality.
Don't fight your feelings on your anniversary.
Sometimes howling at the moon can be therapeutic.

Beautiful wedding picture, Jim, and I am sending prayers for you for God’s comfort, not just tomorrow, but always.
I agree with Warrigal, sometimes we just need to cry out our sorrow, and not try to contain it inside ourself. When you need to turn loose some sorrow, then do so, and it will help with the healing.
Eventually, you will start remembering more of the good times together, and not just the sorrow and grief of losing someone whom you love so dearly.
Sending you a virtual HUG to help you feel some comfort, too. It is still a special day, so try to enjoy some of it in honor of the happiness you had together for all of those years.

Altho' I sad day for you JIm, It's still, your anniversary even though Detta isn't with you, so Celebrate the day you married your beautiful wife , and reflect on the many years you had together!!

Happy Anniversary anyway, Jim, she's still your wife! Lovely pic of you two. Sorry for your loss and your raw pain, hope time dulls that pain.
 
It has to be a difficult day for you Jim and I feel
sad for your pain, you will always miss your beautiful
wife and many times you will be sad, especially when
you don't expect it.

You were a lovely couple all those years ago, you will
also have some great memories, some funny ones too
I bet, try and be upbeat Detta is watching over you.
