Too old

I guess I am just too old for this kind of change in what was my favorite hang out. I'll not rush off immediately but I am considering departure. No offense intended to Matrix. I know his heart is in the right place but I see this new format as "work" and I come here to relax...

I don't like it, either. But then, I usually don't like change. Try to consider that it will probably be uncomfortable only for a short time, then you'll get used to it....at least that's how it is with me.

Well, this was a surprise when I logged in today. I do think the site looks prettier, but I really don't like the font in the posts. I use Firefox and did zoom the font up to 120% which helped, but still REALLY don't like the font. Hard to read.

I see that I can change the font, though. Is there a way I can make arial my permanent font in all my posts? At least I can read it easier.

Good question!! Maybe @Matrix will know

To those of you that don't like this new format, be patient. I'm guessing some of you didn't know and had to learn the format Senior Forums was in previously but you learned in spite of it. I've been fooling with computers long enough to know that with computer software, it has to be updated sometime. If it isn't, eventually it will quit working and would you rather this forum do that? I don't know about forum software but I'm assuming it would be the same. Nothing stays the same forever, including us.

I have not had a lot of time yet today to really give the site the once over. It will take some getting used to, as I have never used this format before. But, I feel that I am attached enough to the place that I do not want to leave any time soon. I have made good friends here, and always learn new stuff.😜
So, I guess I will stay for now.👍🍀

Oh, for pete's sake. Just give it a little time and get used to it. The old forum software was out of date and too difficult to administer any longer, so as with everything in the computer age... "upgrades."

Yep. And just like so many "upgrades," it feels much more like a "downgrade."
