Grandma Cuca has been divorced for as long as I`ve known her-I did know her husband but I could see why she divorced him lol. Gma Ramona`s husband passed away several years ago at 90. They were married since she was 14 and I think he was 19. I was looking at this photo today and it took me back 29 1/2 years to when my first grandson was born. When he was 3 days old,we packed him up in the car and drove him to see Gma Ramona,3 hours away. He was her firstborn greatgrandbaby. We arrived at her house at about 2 in the afternoon and she was out mowing (with an old pushmower,mind you)their one acre lot. Earlier she had been up on a ladder painting the eves. I mean,she was only 58 but wow-I was amazed! Gpa still worked back then-he worked for the railroad-so she handled all the chores. Thankfully,he retired soon after this lol.
