So, the other day, I was out and about. Decided before going home to go to my local Bill Grey's. Local burger joint, local chain. Great burgers and fries. They are open for take out. SO, I craved a burger and fries.
Walking away from counter after paying, and tripped on one of the barriers they had up. Landed on my butt. Needed a hand getting up, but the most I wounded was my pride. Kudos to the staff who were willing to break proticol and help out. Got a bit bruised up. Just noticed THIS on my leg..it is on the back of the leg.
Before you go all nuts..I have mentioned it does not take much for me to bruise, and I did fall hard. LOL I AM FINE>

My aunt had something like that and the doctor found a Hematoma. He told her she did the right thing going to the ER. Those things can travel and maybe even get into your heart. Not trying to scare you, just a warning.

You have some strong bones there girl! So glad you dont have severe pain in the hip, knee, leg or foot, amen xo
I have fallen so many times in the past 10 years and never broke anything except the both sides of my ankle which I had surgery for....
my bone scans always say I have very soft bones, go figure that one out.....if its not meant to be, it just wont happen and we're so happy about that right? lol....xo

As long as you're ok Marie, that's all that matters... (y)... My sister bruises very easily too, and so her injuries always look worse than the damage.. I'm the complete opposite, I would have no bones left whole, and have only a tiny bruise to show for it ..:D

My goodness Marie. It's a good thing you weren't hurt any worse! I fell twice within a couple of years, both times on cement. First time I sprained my pinky and my son convinced me to see a doctor. Wound up wearing a custom brace. The second time I fell on my face. I'm blessed that I didn't break my nose or lose teeth! So do be careful.

I agree with others.....have that looked at, girl! Take good care.

Nothing left to say that hasn't already been said, Marie. Do take care of that injury, may be a lot more sore in a few days, please watch carefully, that something not quite right may be happening. Take it easy, cold pack may feel good, do contact someone if you're in need of help.

Thanks for your concern. A neighbor is a nurse, and she and I donned masks, she met me out on my deck and she took a look. She will help me keep an eye on it.
@Aunt Bea yes, the burger survived..had not picked it up yet. I guess I stay away from there for a while. Do you know Bill Greys?
That is great you have someone looking out for you.

I went to one several years ago when my brother lived in Western New York.

I'm also a fan of Abbott's custard.

Don't stay away summer is just getting started and you need to practice, practice, practice!
