Took to the trails with the RZR

I really didn’t want to go. I still have zero interest in recreational activities. But Ron loves taking the RZR out, it’s one of his most favorite outdoor activities. Plus we went with his daughter (Sheri, the cancer survivor) and grandkids, so that made it even more of a draw for him.

I’ve been making a concerted effort to engage more with life, to overcome my general apathy and disinterest to become more involved like I used to be, so I went. It was a lot, honestly. I was over capacity for a good portion of the day. But Ron was so happy with the activity, so pleased that I was with him enjoying what he loves, so that was good. The trails were muddy because of rain the day before, so we got pretty splattered, but the scenery was gorgeous.

Ronni, glad you're getting out regardless of the reasons. Looks like fun and beautiful scenery is always a plus. Great pics! Glad you're surrounded by positive lighthearted family. 💚

You look so funny splattered with mud @Ronni! :ROFLMAO: How hard was it to wash off? Glad to see Sheri & Ron look so happy!
@Pepper a normal shower was all it took to get it of skin and out of hair. My dark jeans and black shirt top came clean in the wash.

Ron however made the mistake of wearing very faded jeans. If I’d been more on my game I would have told him to change to a pair of his dark work denims but that didn’t happen. So they’re currently soaking in Oxy Clean because there are a thousand little beige spots all over them from the clay mud splatter that didn’t wash out even after two washings! 🤦‍♀️

Holy cow, that’s a dirty sport. It makes one laugh at the fun.
@Jules yeah it is. This was a particularly bad day for mud because of all the rain the day before.

But if it’s not mud, it’s a heavy coating of clay dust over everything and IN everything! It’s shocking how that dust can permeate things that you would think would be sealed tight! I prefer the mud, it’s easy to see and easy to sluice off with a hose compared to how detailed you have to get to clean the dust out of everything.

My very close neighbours have just had two trail bikes stolen from our shared garage 20 ft odd high and 15 ft wide and 40 foot long - it's gawn very very quiet around here recently!!

@old medic That’s very cool! Do you know the names of the trails they ride or the areas?
Off hand the only one I can think of is Wind Rock. I know they have gone there several time... Even before they got married... They have also hit some of the Hatfield/ Macoy trails too.
We just bought 2 bikes to bring to NY, looking forward to riding around with our Grandson. Also bringing a friend from SC that thought NY was nothing but a big city... Cant wait to turn him lose up there... the campsite is up 6 miles of gravel road once you pass the gate to the property.
