Tornado in the UK

In the UK we don't worry about tornado's. Not that we don't get them (we apparently get approx. 30 every year) but they're not usually of a strength that causes widespread damage. As such, they fly under the radar. Still a storm just came through (Storm Gerrit) and it's caused a tornado that tore a roof off a house and damaged lots of property.

No injuries thank goodness. It still reads like a strange headline to me, we're just not attuned to this type of thing here.
