While chasing a suspect, my guy jumped over a 3 foot wire fence. I was young back then and thought I could do that too, but because the weight of my service belt, I tripped over it at about 3 inches from the top. I went down in a hurry with no injury and I continued the chase. He said he was a heavy smoker or I never would have caught him, but I did.
