Totalitarian Talkers

I'm a good listener, but not a big talker. But I do believe that a conversation consists of two people exchanging ideas or thoughts. I've learned over the years that if I'm stuck for an unusual amount of time with a chatterbox, whether on the phone or in person, to cut the conversation off and go about my own business without being rude or hurtful, or suffering with a cauliflower ear. Thank goodness my husband is not one to chew off your ear. 🥺

I understand the frustration and annoyance folks refer to.

But...I think sometimes people are lonely, bored, don't have anyone else to talk to, don't want to go home and face (whatever), so........ 🤨

Well hypochondria, sounds like you're in the right place. So stick around. Your posts always have a touch of the unexpected so it's been a pleasure to read them.
