I am hard of hearing! Last night I tried to get my DVD player to recognize closed captions (CC) from one of my old TV series. I switched from NTSC ( North American format) to Pal (European format) & the whole TV screen went blank. Now I can't get it to go back to NTSC. Is my DVD player garbage now? I'm stuck! Please advise. Thanks.
