A tram crash/derailment in London has killed at least 7 taking a turn. The conductor arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

A tram is a little smaller than a train. In the US I guess they would be a street car or trolley. They set a little lower which surprised as to the severity of the crash or derailment.

RIP victims speed recovery to injured
 

Speed limit was 12 mph, and it was travelling well in excess of this.

Driver arrested and charged with manslaughter (probably culpable homicide in the States.)

the tram was travelling on the piece of track on the right, coming towards the camera, so you can see it finished a long way off track.

Passengers were thrown from the windows and trapped underneath.
