Tried Couscous

Never again! I find it very difficult to manage. Those little grains get all over and are difficult to clean up. I am going to call couscous the "glitter" of foods.

I like couscous. It is teeny tiny, but I've never found that to be a problem. It's so quick and easy to make, and you can add whatever you want to it.

I have spilled couscous also it seem that it goes all over and wind will spread it also but I do like to eat it.

A really easy base to mix with vegetables or broths. Much easier than rice or noodles, not that they’re hard.

I’ve searched high and low for this. They don’t seem to sell it here, even in the specialty stores. If I ever find it, I won’t remember why I thought I absolutely had to have it.

I cook couscous in chicken broth, then add veg's, and/or diced chicken. It's good as a warm dish, or cold dish. Very versatile.

Well I hate glitter, but couscous is OK. Not a super favorite but I make it sometimes. You are right, dry or cooked it does get messy.

The couscous here is in the Asian food section of the grocery. It comes in different flavor varieties, but I got the plain flavor. I figured that would go with anything.
