Tried to buy a new car

The new/used car I just purchased last Friday off the internet was just delivered 20 minutes ago.
Sitting in my driveway, all shiny and clean.
The bank said I could put it on my Debit card but the dealership wanted a wire transfer.
Bought it over the phone, "pig in a poke" but now I have a good, dependable vehicle with good mileage and much newer.
Tickled pink!
Best of luck with your new car Gaer!

I didn't go out that much. Only went to doctors, stores, etc. I don't have the stamina that I did, say 5 years ago. I finally went out earlier. Went to go buy a universal remote control for my TV and other food items. I love Big Lots.
Same here.
And Big Lots....I bought my lounge chair cushions there. They were only $42 ea. compared to others I had seen for a $100 or more.

They're so nice, and they're Blue!

You bought it sight unseen and no test drive? No Car Fax?

We don't want a car payment so we'll hang on to our vehicles, both were bought in 2015. My car has less than 15,000 miles. lol
Me to @PamfromTx Up,to just over 12 months ago I was driving a 16 year old trusty Toyota Corolla and hubby had a 2003 rodeo we mainly used to tow our caravan.

I didn't need to make a “look at me “ statement by the car I drove , it was very reliable and well maintained by my husband who was a diesel mechanic in his working days .
However just prior to COVID hitting Australia we did our maths and worked out what it was costing for 2 cars and a caravan maintenance / insurances / tyres / servicing and decided to go to one car we could both drive so we sold our caravan and both cars and bought a SUV I’m comfortable driving it no bigger body wise than my old Toyota bit more comfy getting in and out of and better on the budget.

The new car is wonderful, all the safety bells and whistles. Especially like the distracted driver, as he is always looking out the window instead of at the road. Got a zero interest rate for 3 years through Subaru which uses chase bank. High payment but want it paid off as soon as possible.
Yes, after I got my new Accord in 12-2020, I thought it had a bunch of unnecessary "safety" features designed to drive up the car's price.
But after getting familiar with them, I realized how useful they are & would never have any car without them.
Most useful is the HUD - Heads Up Display which displays your speed and the speed limit right above the hood, so you don't need to take your eyes off the road.

LOL, I thought I read that you were driving a crusty 16 year old Toyota Corolla. I drive a Toyota Corolla (2015). I like my little car. Hubby drives a Mazda SUV.b75e2a1f9754f452113322ab223c73a4[1].jpg That Einstein test messed my eye sight. LOL!
