Truth is ______________.

"truth may be vital, but without love it is also unbearable.”
It's said Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio said this when "absolving his Pope".

It's surely vital, I think indispensable even. His caveat though is noteworthy, for without love how could truth ever be bearable...

Philosophers tell us truth is a moral imperative, is that to say love is too?!

I'm interested to know others thoughts on truth...

Actually, I think your title says it all:
Truth is.

But what about all those people that have been imprisoned falsely? They have supposedly been 'proven' guilty when the 'truth' is that they are innocent.
Ah but that's where it gets complicated, isn't it? They weren't really and truly proven guilty; something was badly wrong with either the defense or the prosecution or the jury or all. Thank goodness for that organization--name escapes me, sorry--that works on getting some of the cases reopened.

It seems to me that the truth is hard to find. I always have to do my own research and do not blindly believe what others (even professionals) tell me, write or televise.
I agree it's currently very difficult to find truth..??!! Its existence though is undeniable...

truth and is seem to be mutually exclusive wherever they may lie.
