Truth is ______________.

My faith-based response to what is truth...

Truth is within. It's in our heart, mind, and soul.
Our heart, when softened, opens to it. Our mind believes it.
Our senses fully aware. Our soul embraces it.
Even if we we're blind our eyes still see truth.

"...and the truth will set us free"
John 8:32
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
...the way, the truth, & the life...

Truth is what you tell yourself to believe

Truth, May or may not be factual, truth is what you believe until it is replaced by new information. Humans interpret truth by what they to believe.

i dont think you will truly find the truth when dealing with other humans. it seems to be something people find hard to express in order to preserve their own self interests (ego)

"truth may be vital, but without love it is also unbearable.”
It's said Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio said this when "absolving his Pope".

It's surely vital, I think indispensable even. His caveat though is noteworthy, for without love how could truth ever be bearable...

Philosophers tell us truth is a moral imperative, is that to say love is too?!

I'm interested to know others thoughts on truth...
I don't see a connection between truth and love unless the truth is painful but it isn't necessarily.

Interpretation varies for sure but truth doesn't...
What a person beleves as truth cannot be altered until the person changes his/her mind. In respect to religion, people believe based on faith, however, besides what is one’s mind, matters of faith cannot be proven beyond religious doctrine. Religious beliefs vary from person to person and although basic beliefs are somewhat the same, there is a possibility a believer might wrongly interpret scripture doctrine and act unaccordingly to the prescribed faith.
