Need to just calm down?
This Thread is for all things calm and quiet shhhh
whether it be music or visuals, etc...anything soothing and pleasant
So get comfy, breathe deeply and slowly, smile sweetly, and enjoy

"Scotch & Soda"
by Manhatten Transfer. I also like Andrea Mann's voice singing this song.

This is one of my fave YouTube channels:

We can watch YouTube on our living room tv, so for Christmas I saved a bunch of Mr. Janis' holiday vids on a loop to have playing in the background. (Then, of course, Huzz decided he wanted to watch Die Hard instead; oh, well; I like that movie too, lol.)

I put on the headphones and crank up Nickelback to the MAX! That is how I clear my head and find my silence.
Best stress reliver ever! Got to feel it in :love:my bones.

This is pretty cool.
You know, I can't stand incense and have never purchased any,
but when I first started listening to this musical gizmo, I swear
I could clearly smell incense. Call me crazy but that happened to me once before.
It just kind of wafted in and out. Turn up the quiet.

I used to work at a place that played music constantly over the PA system. The genre changed daily. I wished for one day of silence but never got it.

I know what you mean, my local pub insists on having the juke box on free play most of the day and the local lame brains play the same bloody records over and over again.
I've been a pub man ever since I was too young to drink and if I cannot hear myself, or anybody else speak, there is no point in me using the pub.

Purwell, that was a treat. So calming.
The tune is familiar but didn't realize it had to do with the shore.
I must add that to my Beach Playlist. Thank you!

Some people told me this piece is calming. It's Mendelssohn's "Sweet Remembrance." (I prefer playing more lively compositions)
If ya like it, enjoy:
