TV channels seem to have clearer sound

I can understand conversation clearly, while others sound like a drive-through speaker.
Also I have to constantly adjust the loudness between channels. I set it to a comfortable level and when I change the channel, I either have to increase or decrease the level.

I am constantly adjusting. The thing I hate most is that you have it just right. Then a commercial comes on and it goes to ballistic levels.

I'm always complaining about that. Sometimes a channel sounds like givverish on one show & is find on another program.

I have a similar issue with my flat screen television.

The picture and the sound get out of synch.

If I change channels and come back to the program it usually solves the problem.

When you have multiple providers with different audio levels, you get some channels that are too loud or too soft. Some of the newer TVs have audio equalizers built in to address this problem.
If you're like me, you wind up with the TV on way too loud for all channels.
