long time TV host,Regis Philbin died yesterday of natural causes he was 88
He started his long TV career as sidekick to JOey BIshop in 'JOey BIshop Show'67-'69
The syndicated talk show 'Live with Regis and Kathie started in 1988-2000 when Kathie Lee Gifford left the show.
Kelly Ripa took her place title became Live with Regis&Kelly '01-'11.Regis left the show in 2011
He debut and hosted TV game show'Who Wants to Be A Millionaire', the 1st season of 'America's Got Talent'
He is survived by his wife Joy,4 kids and grandchildren

I lived in the same apt building as he and his wife, back in San Diego. She was always borrowing food and recipes from me. Nice lady.

Although a celebrity, Regis always presented himself as being a likable, Everyman-kinda guy. He projected none of the ego or narcissism that many Hollywood types do. Regis was intelligent, witty, and insightful. He'll be missed...
