I was going to post this OldFeller. It's definitely my favorite series theme song. In fact I Clip Grabbed it and saved it on my hard drive.

IrishEyes, I think many of the music supervisors for various shows have been doing an fantastic job of choosing songs. Since the advent of apps like Soundhound and Shazam that listen and display the name of the song and artist, I usually don't have to search for the song titles anymore. But in case they cant determine, there's a website that lists the tracks played during each episode of series. I think I bookmarked it somewhere; if I find it I'll post it.

In the meantime, this is a song that as soon as I heard about four bars, I knew I wanted it for my collection. I believe it was in the opening scene of a show called Forever, starring Ioan Gruffud.

 
My oldest son's name when young was Eddie. He loved this show I think because his name was in it

Setting my 'wayback time machine' to my very young days.

Every afternoon after school, my brothers and I would watch a show called 'Captain Honolulu', hosted by Bob Smith.
Just your normal, local kids show with cartoons and such.
He wore a flight suit and always ended his show with the 'finger mask' and this song.

Silly song and gesture, but hey, we were kids.

The song you posted is nice. I love Basia, even though she's a bit nasal. I have three albums by her. The one with Cruising for Bruising, Brave New Hope, is a great album. Her band is 🔥🔥🔥 I don't want to hijack this thread, so here's the Basia playlist from my YouTube Music app.. I think my favorites besides "Crusing....." are Come to Heaven, Masquerade and Drunk On Love (they are cookin' with grease on the latter two!)
