Tweety is an old people’s bird at heart!

I was reminded of that when I opened her cage door this morning at about 7:45.
I asked her if she didn’t want to be the early bird that gets the worm?
She finally got out and ran across the table as soon as I went over to turn the radio to her favorite station.
She even takes naps in the middle of the day like we do.
We used to leave her cage door open at night but one night after we had shut her lights out she flew into another room and got disoriented and hit a wall and fell behind a chair after my wife turned the lights up she was able to see to be able to make it back to her cage.
Since then my wife shuts tweety’s lights out and shuts her cage door when she gets in her cage to roost at light and I get up every morning and let her out.
