Two "Lone Rangers" ??????? HORRORS!!!!!!!!!

Saturday morning was ' TV Westerns For Kids Time", when I was a kid (late 50s). One of my favorite shows was "The Lone Ranger". Of course, Clayton Moore was the Lone Ranger. But in some episodes, there's a funny sounding Lone Ranger- John Hart. OMG BLASPHAMY
Sorry, The real Lone Ranger has to be the nasal sounding Moore. You can't mess up my childhood with a funny sounding Lone Ranger!!!!!!!

It's like all the different Tarzans. For me, it's a dead heat between Johnny Weissmuller and Lex Barker. Johnny because he just looked like a Tarzan and Lex because he was a hunk. The other ones ranged from "meh" to "you gotta be kidding!"

You're right, Fuzzy, it's Clayton Moore all the way! When he made appearances later in life, he could dress like the Lone Ranger, but he had to wear wrap-around dark glasses instead of the mask. Someone owned the actual image of the Lone Ranger so no mask. Blasphemy!

I challenge anyone our age to listen to the William Tell Overture and not think about the Lone Ranger.

As for me, I was a "Loan Arranger".

My goodness I never knew about John Hart. From IDBM- "....rode the Western plains in 52 episodes of TV's The Lone Ranger (1949) (playing the Masked Man)".

I guess the "Lone" Ranger, wasn't really "lone".

There was more than one early Supermen as well. I always wondered why superman in the tv series ducked when the bad guys threw a chair at him.
