One had bone cancer according to the class Facebook group. When he passed, his SO died a few hours later.

I didn't know the fellow too well, but the woman was a casual friend in high school. I had her a a guest at my house a few times, but she didn't live in my neighborhood. Her dad drove the school bus that took me to school for a few years.

There were 8 boys in my graduating class of '64. Only three left. I'm not sure how many of the girls are left.
At least, those passed classmates will always be 18 to us.

That was a small class! There were about 150 in my graduating class.

It's so sad to hear that some school friends have passed away. I sometimes look at my school photo and wonder how many are still alive. I heard that 2 have gone and nothing more. Because it was an all-girls school it's hard to keep in touch as many had changed their surnames due to a marriage.

I keep track of my old friends, classmates etc as I had a class of about 30 off and on till graduation in 64. Over the years we connected from time to time and some of us married guys who were best friends and us girls were bfs. We all started out in 2nd grade and stayed friends till they died. All of those friends I had then are gone...died. I lost 2 friends I had in later life this last March. So now I really have no friends to share memories with or chat with.
My entire close family and most of my cousins are gone, except one. All the "new" brothers and sister (there are 6) are still with me except for 2 and they died in 2019 and 2023. We never knew about one another so no contact with them. Everyone of my lovers and husbands are gone except for the agent. It seems like everytime I check another one has died.
