UK weather question

After the last week of storm damage here I was wondering about storms and weather across the pond.
I have never been there (would like to) and I don't recall ever hearing anything about big storms there
so just curious about what your weather is like. Cold, snow hurricanes, tornados etc

yes we have storms, mainly flooding which happens quite regularly in some places.. ( we are an Island) but we've occasionally had small earthquakes and Tornadoes..

Thanks for the response, does it get cold there, snow, I'm in Minnesota so we get cold and snow. just curious!

yes we do get snow.. not so much here in the South ( London region )...but most often in the North of England and in Scotland..
