Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will soon have his own action figure

FCTRY, a product design company based in Brooklyn, New York, will be making the action figures.

It launched a Kickstarter campaign two weeks ago to fund production, according to Reuters.

Within just three hours, the campaign hit its $30,000 funding goal, Reuters reported.

For every Zelenskyy action figure sold, FCTRY will give $1 in aid to Ukrainian refugees, according to a Facebook post.

He is more deserving than anyone else I can think of, and it's great that the proceeds are going to the Ukrainian people. I will certainly buy one when it becomes available. What an incredible, determined leader he has turned out to be.

I have mixed feelings about this.

IMO it is just a way to make money and exploit the war in Ukraine.

On the other hand it may inspire some young folks.

Why not skip the doll and donate $20.00 to the Ukrainian relief effort.

Something about him tells me he may be rapped up in some corruption. Our country has guaranteed him some 40 billion dollars in aide and how do we know all that money will go towards the war effort? Politics being what it is today, it seems like large gifts of money isn’t all being used for its intended purposes.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, @dseag2 ! I have full admiration and belief in him. Never have I considered buying an action figure until now, but I will certainly look for them and make my purchase!

I'm not all that big on the doll. I admire the man, but this does seem like exploitation.
