Ungrateful Adult Children

Feeling huge relief to find a forum of Boomers dealing with the ungrateful younger generations. I've given and given both my heart and financially but there seems to be little to no gratitude from our children. I hope to gain more insight on how to move on from here and not live with this pain in my heart for being taken for granted after making all of them my top priority. My husband does not have as much of an issue with it as I do.
 

Yes, the task of loving ungrateful kids is just one more burden. Many people have the same observation and they also say to satisfy yourself in the same selfish way: go places without them!
 
Good idea!! They are too busy now with kids of their own so we just see them when we see them!!

Its the same here TooKind. I just do my thing and don't expect anything in return. Welcome to the forum. Lot of nice folks here.
