Unheralded Villians (WARNING: graphic/unpleasant)

I wasn't sure what to call this thread or even whether to post it, but ..........

I think there were two actors who were not well known but did excellent jobs in their roles as bad guys.

William McKinney in Deliverance 1972. Poor Ned Beatty, and yay Burt Reynolds - good shot! For those who never saw the movie, brace yourselves:



David Dukes in All in the Family 1977. (note: the assault and attempted rape of scatterbrained beloved housewife Edith Bunker was a desecration. But it was an important show because she wasn't a cute young college girl. Several important messages in this episode.)

 

Thought of another one: In the movie "The Help", racist manipulative Hilly Holbrook was played by actress Bryce Dallas Howard. I think she did an EXCELLENT job, and should have gotten more credit recognition. (btw, IRL Bryce is the daughter of Ron Howard.)
