The Sticks, Northeast PA.
Today, I was typing away, and i clicked on something, some how I had "reply"ed myself. I have this crummy keyboard that lights up, but it's real easy to hit a couple of keys when I type. So some strange stuff happens that I never knew about his forum. I don't know how, but a woman '"reads" what is written on the forum page. Like I said, somehow i do something and there's a woman's voice. She'll say, '"Senior Forums, Unknow stuff this form has. Today, I was................." She'll read the whole thing. I had no idea there was anything like that app installed. Since I don't know how I got into the voice app, I click off being in the forum. Apparently, there's all kinds of goodies hidden here.
 

If someone knows how to activate the voice, please let me know. I fear I may require it someday.

I don't know much about these things but my daughter gave me a laptop with Windows 10. Alexia was already downloaded on it. I never tried it, Personally I don't like things that aren't human talking to me.
One day I was trying to get the laptop hooked up to the TV set so we could watch a movie. I was bent over the laptop complaining out loud how I hate messing with these things and how hard it was.
A voice came on and said she totally agreed with me and it is hard.
I almost dropped dead. I didn't know she was even listening.
Maybe that's what happened to you, fuzzybuddy.
 
Last thing I wanna do (among many . . . ) is talk to a damn computer. Unless, of course, it's swearing at the so-called intuitive thing constantly.

MS Edge browser has a feature that will speak to you what you would otherwise read.
