By sheer happenstance, I crossed paths with this dated article:
“Delicious Way to Rid Your Neighborhood of Rats”

The thought of not knowing where these rats roamed, or what they’ve fed upon, is what turns my mind against sampling such a dish. It’s quite plausible to imagine some were accidentally poisoned, diseased, or infested with parasites before being captured, making them an indelicate, if not a toxicant entrée.
Yet, [IF] I ever found myself struggling to survive, in need of sustenance; I’m sure I’d be less finicky, and every bit grateful for whatever I might be lucky enough to catch … lol.
I wonder if others are willing to try, or prepare unusual food dishes that stray slightly from the norm.
