Update on my husband, post surgery

Hi all. Rick had a not great day yesterday, pain wise. But the nurse said it was to be expected. He has been on liquids since surgery. Broth, juice, flavored frozen ices. Today I got a call at about 6:30 and he was all excited. He got solid food for dinner. A bagel. Apple sauce and tomato soup. I had been there earlier today and when he went to the bathroom he had, well, um, some solid output. So he got real food. He said it was great.

Hopefully he will be coming home Saturday. Biopsy results not until next week some time. The gang from his work came to visit this afternoon, and that made him happy
