After returning from Mornington, I decided to continue putting David's place in order. His wife has dementia and she became a bit of a hoarder. Continually buying stuff they already had.
So each room is full of "superfluous stuff". I have been slowly going through it to try an attain some semblance of order. With David's blessing of course.
David has been incapacitated himself with a couple of ankle operations seeing him unable to get around much. He is back on his feet now, though still needing to be careful with walking.
As I have mentioned, each room is full. Going through one of them I came across 125 LP Albums. Ranging from the 50s, 60, 70s, 80s, Country Music and Classical Music.
All in good condition, all in original sleeves.
Some titles being, The Beatles (White Album), Jan and Dean, Crosby, Stills..., Steeleye Span, Don McLean.
The Kinks, Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers, Mama Cass, Rolling Stones (12x5), Tom Jones, Mario Lanza, Engelbert Humperdinck, Led Zeppelin.
What a find.
I asked if I could play them and David said no worries. I ordered a record/cd player, will be here on Tuesday.
